Did you know that when you shop, you can earn cash back by uploading your receipts? These cash back sites, or receipt rebate apps, help you earn a bit of extra cash. Here are a few favorites:
Ibotta
Personally I’ve been able to earn the most through Ibotta. They give a list of items and how much cash back you can earn for purchasing that specific item. Decide which you’d like to buy and click the check mark under that item. Then go shopping for those items, upload your receipt, and instantly receive your cash back!
Fetch
My second favorite receipt rebate app! Fetch is different from Ibotta in that you can upload pretty much any receipt. You’ll get 25 points for most, equal to about 2.5 cents. However, you can earn a lot faster when buying specific products which you can find on the home page. Sometimes the cash back offered ends up making the product free!
For parents who use Huggies, Fetch is pretty much essential. You’ll get great bonus point deals when uploading receipts that contain a Huggies purchase.
Receipt Hog
Receipt Hog is another app that takes pretty much most receipts. Just snap a phot and upload. You earn pretty slowly because there are no bonus-earning products like with Fetch. But there are sweepstakes entries and you sometimes earn a chance to play the slots game which can earn you big points! And even though it’s slow going, it’s something! Better than just crumpling your receipt and throwing it away!
Honorable mention:
Have yet to earn enough to cash out from other of these, but I’m pretty close, and uploading receipts has been smooth and easy.
AND…you can upload the same receipts to all receipt rebate apps! Yep!
So now you know…when they ask you if you want a copy of your receipt next time you’re shopping, the answer is ALWAYS yes!!!!
